My name is Linzi Saunders and I currently study as a full time student on a MA Fine Art course. My main interest is painting and has been for several years now. I also enjoy drawing, graphic design and digital manipulation in photography. Most recently I have been learning various printing techniques.

My work is a experiment of mixed materials to create figurative portraits in my own artistic style. Using photographs, I create small and large scale portraits. Recently I have begun painting celebrities. I do so by using acrylic paint, I very much enjoy the solidity and vibrancy of the colours when a piece is finished. I have also begun to take on some small scale commission pieces for clients.

Quite a large amount of my previous work is based around organ donation and the personal experiences I have been through in my life. Many of these pieces I would describe as semi abstract, I feel the way I have painted them to get the message of organ donation over to my audience easier as I tell my personal story through my paintings.
